FAQ
Here are the most common questions about Family Prep Plan.
Getting started
What is Family Prep Plan?
Family Prep Plan helps you build a personalized emergency plan (72 hours and more), then generate a downloadable PDF you can keep offline.
Do I need technical skills?
No. You fill out simple forms, and the PDF is generated automatically.
Is this for Canada only?
No. The plan is designed to work broadly, but some suggestions (services, emergency numbers, or recommended items) may vary by country.
Account & access
Do I need an account?
Yes—an account is required to save your plan and generate your PDF.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Use Forgot password on the login screen, and follow the email instructions.
Can I use the same account for my whole family?
Yes. One account can manage one (or multiple) household plans depending on how you organize your information.
Plan editor
How do I know my changes are saved?
After you update a section, click Save (or the save action in that section). If you leave without saving, changes may be lost.
Can I update the plan later?
Yes. You can edit your plan anytime and re-download the PDF.
What if I don’t know some information yet?
Skip it for now. You can complete it later—your PDF will include only what you filled in.
PDF download
How do I download my PDF?
Go to Account → Plan editor and click Download PDF.
Can I download it multiple times?
Yes. You can re-download anytime, especially after updates.
My PDF is outdated. Why?
Usually the plan wasn’t saved before generating. Save your changes, then download again.
The download doesn’t start. What should I do?
Try:
- Refresh the page
- Try another browser
- Disable ad-blockers for the site
- Use a private/incognito window
Billing & subscription

How do I update my payment method?
Go to Account → Billing and click Manage billing (Stripe).
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. If you cancel, your subscription may remain active until the end of the current billing period.
I canceled—can I resume later?
Yes. If your subscription is still in a resumable state (ex: “cancel scheduled”), you can resume.
If it is fully canceled, you may need to start a new subscription.
