This page explains how to generate and download your Family Prep Plan PDF.

What the PDF includes

Your PDF is generated from the information saved in the Plan editor. It typically includes:

  • Household information
  • Emergency contacts
  • Supplies checklist (72 hours / extended if available)
  • Key instructions and notes

If a section is missing, it usually means it wasn’t filled in or saved in the Plan editor.

Generate your PDF

  1. Go to Account → Plan editor
  2. Click Download PDF
  3. Wait a few seconds while the PDF is generated
  4. Your browser will download the file automatically

If the download doesn’t start, see Troubleshooting below.

Re-download (any time)

You can re-download your PDF whenever you want:

  • After making changes in the Plan editor
  • After renewing your subscription
  • If you lost the file

Tip: Update your plan, then download again to get the latest version.

Access requirements

Depending on your plan:

  • An active subscription/trial is required to download the PDF.
  • During a 30 days free trial, PDF download is available.

If you believe you should have access but don’t, check Billing and make sure your subscription is Active (or Trial).

Troubleshooting

The PDF button does nothing

Try:

  • Refresh the page
  • Log out and log back in
  • Disable ad-blockers / privacy extensions for this site
  • Try another browser (Chrome/Edge/Firefox)
  • Try in a private window

The download starts but the PDF is empty or outdated

  • Go to Plan editor
  • Make a small change and click Save
  • Return to Download PDF and generate again

I get an error message

Common causes:

  • Session expired (log in again)
  • Temporary server issue (try again after a minute)
  • Billing restriction (see Billing & Subscriptions)

If it still fails, contact support with:

  • Your account email
  • The exact error message
  • Time of the attempt
  • Screenshot (if possible)

Best practices

  • Download a new PDF after major edits (contacts, addresses, medical info)
  • Keep a copy:
    • On your phone
    • Printed at home
    • Shared with a trusted family member
